# Strand Management
The **Strand Management** feature allows you to create, edit, delete, and manage strands under a specific track.
## Access and Navigation
You can access **Strand Management** by clicking the **"View Strands"** button from the **Track Setup** page.

Contact your school’s system administrator to request view or edit access if you cannot access the rights management screen.

## Search for Strands
* Set the **Search by** filter in the upper-right corner of the page
* Click the **Magnifying glass** icon and enter your keyword(s)
## Create a New Strand
* Click the **New** button in the upper-right corner of the page
* In the pop-up window, enter the following details:
* **Code** – Short identifier for the strand
* **Description** – Additional details about the strand
* Click **Add Strand** to save
## Edit a Strand
* Click the **Pencil** icon next to the strand you want to update
* In the pop-up window, modify the details as needed:
* **Code** – Short identifier for the strand
* **Description** – Additional details about the strand
* Click **Save Changes** to update
## Delete a Strand
* Click the **Trash Bin** icon next to the strand
* Confirm your decision to remove it
