Tracks and Strands

Purpose: To setup all tracks and strands offered by the school

Prerequisite/dependencies: None

Output: Selection for JHS/SHS section strand

Go to Planning > School Year Setup > Tracks.

Managing Tracks

Creating a New Track

1) Click + New.

2) Fill out the necessary details:

• Code - Track code

• Description - more details about this track

3) Once done, don't forget to click Add track.

Editing a Track

Click the pen button of the track and modify the contents as needed

Deleting a Track

Click the red Trash can button to delete the track

A track with strands cannot be deleted. Delete the strands first before deleting the track.

Searching a Track

Click the search bar on the right side and type the keyword to search

Sorting a Track

Click the sort button on the right side

By Code - alphabetical A-Z or Z-A

By Description - alphabetical A-Z or Z-A

Managing Strands of a Track

Creating a New Strand for a Track

1) Click View Strands of the Track to modify. This will show all available strands for the track.

2) Click + New to add.

• Code - Strand code

• Description - more details about this strand

3) Once done, don't forget to click Add strand.

Editing a Strand

Click the pen button of the strand and modify the contents as needed

Deleting a Strand

Click the red Trash can button to delete the strand

Deleting a strand will also delete the curriculum under it.

Searching a Strand

Click the search bar on the right side and type the keyword to search

Sorting Strands

Click the sort button on the right side

By Code - alphabetical A-Z or Z-A

By Description - alphabetical A-Z or Z-A
