The Schedule module enables the creation and management of schedules based on the offered curriculum. It supports planning for the next term or modifying schedules for ongoing enrollments. Faculty, schedules, and room assignments can be efficiently managed for each class.
To access this module, go to Planning > Scheduler
If you cannot view the link from the list, check the privilege assigned to your account or role.
Contact your school’s system administrator to request view or edit access if you cannot access the rights management screen.
Room List - The rooms list displays all rooms created from the Planning Setup Module. Rooms are grouped by room type and sorted alphabetically
Timetable - The default scheduling time slots are available from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The timetable supports class scheduling from Monday to Saturday.
Filters and Tools: These features allow you to refine and manage schedules efficiently. You can:
Choose schedules for the current school year or the next.
Select academic units, such as Junior High School or Senior High School.
Specify terms for detailed scheduling.
View schedules by Room, Faculty, or Section for a clearer perspective.
In the schedules view, select any section on the right-hand panel to view its details. Once clicked, a side window will appear displaying the following information:
Course Code and Description
Assigned Faculty - This can be updated by selecting a different teacher from the dropdown.
Section Type
Section Name
Section Availability
Schedules
Actions Available:
Unschedule - Remove the section from the schedule.
Faculty Availability - View availability based on the faculty member's profile
Note: Some classes may remain unscheduled due to the following reasons:
No available time slots match the teacher’s preferred schedule.
All time slots are fully occupied.
The preferred time slots are unavailable.
Use the “Auto-Schedule” feature in the schedules view to address this. Clicking this button will automatically plot classes into the timetable based on your term’s planning setup.
In the “Auto-Schedule” pop-up, you can choose to auto-schedule all sections or filter by specific criteria such as Grade Level, Strand, or Section.
Select your desired option from the dropdown menu.
Click the “Auto-Schedule” button.
Wait for the auto-scheduling process to complete. You can navigate away from the page while the scheduling runs in the background. Once finished, all classes will be scheduled.
Prioritize Assigned Faculty’s Availability: The system will prioritize scheduling based on the faculty’s preferred time availability.
In the Schedules View, select an unscheduled section from the list on the right. Drag and drop the section card onto the timetable, specifying the desired room, start time, and day of the week.
Once dropped, a window will appear, allowing you to split the class across multiple days. To allocate days:
Check the boxes next to the desired days.
Click “Plot Schedule” to confirm and finalize the schedule.
In the Schedules View, select a plotted class from the timetable by clicking on it. A window will appear on the right side of the screen. Under the Actions section, click the “Unschedule” button to remove the selected class from the timetable.
In the Schedules View, click “Summary View” in the upper-left corner of the page to open the section summary.
This view provides a summary list of all sections, showing the following details:
Details - Grade level, subject code, room, subject name, and assigned faculty.
Schedule - If the section is scheduled, the room and schedule will be displayed. If not, it will indicate that the section is unscheduled.
Three Dots (Actions) - Allows you to change the assigned faculty.
