Other Fees

This feature allows you to create and customize additional fees. You can also define rules that determine which types of students these fees apply to.

Access and Navigation

Other Fees can be accessed under Finance > Finance Setup.

Check the privilege assigned to your user account or role if you cannot view a link from the list.

View Other Fees per Tern

Click the term dropdown in the upper-left corner then select a term to display the associated fees.

Create a New Other Fee

  • Click +New Other Fee in the upper-right corner

  • Enter the required details:

    • Description - Name of the Other Fee

    • Term Applicable - Term where the fee applies

    • Account Code - Link to an existing account code

    • Applies To - Specify conditions for affected students

    • Tag - Assign a category to the fee

    • Pricing Type - Choose fixed or variable

    • Price - Fee amount

  • Click Add Other Fee to save

Edit an Other Fee

  • Select the fee to edit and click the Pencil icon

  • Modify the necessary fields in the Update Other Fee form (Note: The Term Applicable field cannot be edited.)

  • Click Update Other Fee to save changes

Delete an Other Fee

  • Select the fee to delete and click the Trash Bin icon

  • Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete

View Students Tagged to an Other Fee

  • Click View Students on your selected fee

  • A list of students assigned to the fee will be displayed.

Add Students to a Fee

  • While viewing an Other Fee, click + Add Student located in the upper-right corner

  • Enter the student’s name

  • Click Add Student to save

Search for Students Tagged to a Fee

While viewing an Other Fee, type a keyword or exact text into the search bar located in the upper-right corner. Press Enter to find matching results.
