This feature allows you to access the information of the Faculty.
The Faculty module can be found under Users > Faculty.
Check the privilege assigned to your user account or role if you cannot view a link from the list.
Contact your school’s system administrator to request view or edit access if you cannot access the rights management screen
Click the New Faculty button on the upper right corner of the page to open the “Add a new faculty” form
Fill out the necessary details on the form. You can choose if the teacher works part-time or full-time and if they are active or inactive. Afterwards, click Add Faculty
You may also add faculty in bulk by clicking the Import from file icon on the left of the Search Bar.
You must have a CSV file with the fields: First Name, Last Name, Email, Employment Type (Part Time, Full Time), and Status (Regular, Deactivated, On Hold). Choose a file or drag it into the space provided, then click Import File.
To search for a faculty member, input a keyword or the name of the faculty member in the search bar above, then press Enter on your keyboard. Your results will be shown in the list below.
This feature allows you to see the status of faculty, whether the faculty is ‘Regular,’ ‘Deactivated,’ or ‘On-Hold.’
A drop-down menu will appear, allowing you to select the status you want to filter.
With this feature, you will be able to see and update the profile of the teacher. Click the three dots on the right side of the screen.
A menu will appear. Click Teaching Profile to view the profile of the teacher.
Indicate if the teacher will teach next term.
In this section of the Teaching Profile, you can set the preferred number of units for a teacher each semester by inputting the number in the text box labeled “Units”. This is usually based on the faculty type, part-time or full-tim,e or according to your school’s policy.
Set your preferred or assigned room for teaching. A drop-down menu will display all the available rooms. Select from a dropdown list.
The availability of the faculty is set on this part. You can choose whether the faculty is not available, available all day, or available at a certain time on each day of the week.
At this part, you can set a teacher’s teachable courses and course proficiency by clicking on the Edit Courses button on the upper right part of the section.
Scroll to see the check box.
Once you are finished updating the profile, click Save Settings
This feature allows you to update the basic information of the teacher. Click the three dots on the right side of the screen.
A menu will appear; click Update Info to update the teacher's information.
Update the basic information of the teacher:
First name
Last name
Email Address
Employment Type: A drop-down menu where you can select if the teacher is Full Time or Part Time
Status: A drop-down menu where you can select the status of the teacher. The options are:
Regular - The teacher is active and currently working
Deactivate - The teacher is no longer teaching and cannot access their account
On Hold - The teacher's account is on hold, and they cannot teach
This feature allows you to rate the subject that the teacher is teaching. Click the three dots on the right side of the screen.
A menu will appear, click Teaching Rating
Rate the proficiency of the teacher in the subject they are teaching. Click Update once done.
This feature will allow you to view the information of the teacher. Click the three dots on the right side of the screen.
A menu will appear, click View Records.
You will see the information about the teacher. To update the information, click Edit.
Once you’re done updating the information, click Save Changes.
This feature will allow you to download the information of the teacher. Click the three dots on the right side of the screen.
A menu will appear, click View Records
Select the “Download Profile”
Click the checkbox for the information you want to download. If you want to download all the information, click the Select All checkbox.
Once you have made your selection, click Proceed, and the .xlsx file will be downloaded.

Answer: Teachers with higher ratings appear as recommended choices when assigning faculty to courses.
