Student Number Generator

Automates the generation of student IDs based on a school-defined format.

Key Features

• Triggered when a student is manually added or verified in Registration

• Format can include year codes (e.g., YY, EE)

• Only one format is supported across all terms

Steps to Configure

• Choose the school year

• Enter the starting sequence

• Format using available legends

• Save settings

Issuing Student Numbers

From Student List

• Click + New Student

• Fill in the details

• Click Generate. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Proceed to generate the next available student number

• Click Add Student to save the student's information with their system-generated ID number

From Registration > Pending Registration

• Navigate to Registration > Student Registration > Pending Registration

• Click Show Details → Accept → Generate

A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Proceed to generate the next available student number.

• Complete info and click Accept

From Registration > Payment and Verification

• Select a student from the list and click the Show Details button

• Once the applicant's submitted form is reviewed and deemed acceptable for admission, click the Verify button in the upper right corner of the screen

• In the Student Number field, click the Generate blue button

• A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Proceed to generate the next available student number

• Complete the remaining required fields for the student's information. Click the Verify button to finalize the verification
