This user guide is designed to help you navigate and configure the Edusuite Admissions platform efficiently. It provides clear, step-by-step instructions for setting up each feature, from managing applicant workflows to customizing admission requirements.

Access to specific functions may vary depending on the user role and the permissions assigned within the system.

Part 1: For the School - define your Admissions Process

• Application Period

  • Confirm if applications are accepted year-round or only during a specific intake period

• Application Submission & Fees

  • Applicants complete the required application form

  • Determine whether an application or examination fee is required

• Application Forms by Unit

  • Use distinct forms depending on applicant type (e.g., Basic Education, Higher Education, Undergraduate, Postgraduate) with tailored questions and requirements

• Supporting Documents

  • Verify if recommendation letters are required as part of the application package

• Assessment Stage

  • Identify admission pathway:

    • Open admissions (no entrance exams/interviews), OR

    • Selective admissions (require entrance exams and/or interviews)

• Review & Decision

  • Applications are reviewed by admissions staff or faculty

  • Decide whether to:

    • Batch release results (after reviewing all applications), OR

    • Rolling release (notify each applicant as soon as their application is reviewed)

• Notification of Results

  • Communicate acceptance or rejection to applicants through the chosen release method
