Grading Systems are created here. These are the kind and value of grades faculties will use to grade students (e.g. Grading Type: Numeric, Values: 0.0, 1.0, 1.5, etc.).
1. Under "Planning Setup", click on "Grading systems".
2. To add a grading system, click the “Add Grading System” button on the upper right part of the page. This will give you a “New grading system” form.
3. Fill up the necessary details. Do not leave any fields blank and do not use a label that is already being used.
By default, students marked failed are advised to retake the failed subject. Checking the 'Students should not retake subject' box will allow the student to take on post requisite subjects such as those incomplete.
1. To edit a grading system, choose a grading system to edit and click on its edit/pencil icon. This will show an “Update grading system” form, but do not leave any fields blank.
2. Once you are done filling the form, click “Update Grading System”. This will return you to the Course Settings page and you may now see your newly edited grading system in the list provided.
1. To delete a grading system, choose a grading system to delete and click on its delete/trash icon.
2. An alert message will show asking if you are sure you want to delete the item. Click “Delete Grading System” to finalize the deletion. Your chosen item has now disappeared from the list.
4. Once you are done filling the form, click “Add Grading System”. This will return you to the Course Settings page and you may now see your newly created grading system in the list provided.
