General Enrollment Settings

Auto-Enlist in Student Portal

This feature activates and deactivates the auto-enlistment feature for students.

1) Click on the 'Enrollment Setup' tab under Enrollment, then click on the "General Enrollment Settings" tab.

2) Toggle on or off the setting for auto-enlistment as needed.

This setting applies to all students.

If enabled, the subjects advised by Edusuite will be automatically enlisted to all students once the enlistment screen loads from their portals.

Late Enrollment

This feature allows you to enlist and enroll students for the past term.

1) On the section labeled "Late Enrollment", toggle the switch on if you would like to allow late enrollment for students and toggle it off if you would like to proceed with the current term's enrollment.

2) If you have toggled it on, you will notice that in the Enlistments page, the chosen student's enlistment will show the previous term enlistment. From there, you can make the necessary changes.

Max Enlistment Units

This feature allows you to set the maximum units that a student is allowed to enlist for the term.

1) On the section labeled “Max Enlistment Units”, double-click the text box on the left of "Units".

2) Input the number of units you want to set as the maximum units allowed to enroll in, then click outside the text box to save your setting.

Maximum Class Size for Free Sections

This feature sets the maximum number of students allowed per section when forecasting as well as the default number of slots offered in the scheduling module.

3) Double click on the students field and enter your preferred class size.

4) Click anywhere on the screen to save you settings.

Enlistment Verification

This feature allows you to verify pending students for enlistments, so that they may be able to proceed to cashier for payment.

1) Click on the “Enrollment Setup” tab under Enrollment, then click on the “Enrollment Settings” tab.

2) Under Enlistment Verification, toggle the switch on to manually verify the pending student enlistments.

3) Toggle the switch off to automatically verify student enlistments.

Student Enlistment

This feature allows you to choose whether students can enlist and make modifications to their enlistments or only view their enlisted subjects.

1) On the section labeled "Allow Student Enlistment", toggle the switch on to allow students to modify their enlistment.

2) Toggle the switch off to only allow students to view their enlisted courses.

Enlistment Expiration

This feature allows you to set if you would like to remove unpaid students from their enlisted sections after a number of hours.

1. On the section labeled "Enlistment Expiration", switch the "Enable slot expiration." on if you want to have the system automatically remove a student from a class if they haven't made their first payment after a number of hours. Switch it off, if you would like to disable this feature.

2. If you have switched it on, double-click on the text box on the left of "Hours", then type in the number of hours you want to set for the slot expiry. Click outside the text box to save your input.
