Report Templates

This module allows you to upload your own templates and customize how certain reports are formatted with the use of Carbone.

Under the Reports menu group, click the Report Templates button.

Adding New Templates

1) To add new templates, simply click the +New Template button on the upper right portion of the screen.

2) Type in the details of your template in the popup fields that have appeared.

  • Template type - This is the kind of template you are uploading. Currently, only TOR (Transcript of Records) is available for customization.

  • Name

  • Description

  • Template - This is where you can browse for or drag and drop your templates for upload.

Carbone uses .odt or Open Document format. See their documentation here.

  • Applies to - You can set rules as to which students will follow the template format your are uploading.

3) Click the Add Report Template button once you've uploaded your template and indicated your template's settings.

4) To verify that your template was uploaded, click the download button next to the edit button.

5) You may also check by downloading the report from the student's profile. This can be accessed via the Students list under the Users menu group.

Updating Existing Templates

1) To update an existing template, simply click on the edit/pencil button on the template you want to update.

2) Update fields as needed or upload a replacement template in the popup.

3) Click the Update Report Template button once done.

4) To verify that your template was uploaded, click the download button next to the edit button.

5) You may also check by downloading the report from the student's profile. This can be accessed via the Students list under the Users menu group.
