Purpose: To manage the different settings for Grading
Prerequisite/dependencies: Planning > School Year Setup ; Students' grades data
Go to Planning > Grading Setup
This manages how grades and students are displayed in Ongoing Classes.
Select Academic Score sheet.
1) Click on the drop-down located below Rounding Mode and select the preferred rounding mode.
Round Up - round the number to the nearest higher whole number. Example: 3.4 will be 4.0
Round Down - round the number to the nearest lower number. Example: 3.7 will be 3.0
Round Off - if it is greater than 5, round it to the nearest higher whole number. Else, round it to the nearest lower whole number. Example: 3.7 will be 4.0
2) Once selected, it will be saved automatically.
1) Double click on the box below Decimal Places.
2) Input your preferred decimal places, and it will be saved automatically.
This excludes an entire component's percentage from the Final Grade computation.
Click the toggle to enable/disable the setting, and it will be saved automatically.
HOW THE SETTING WORKS:

TOTAL GRADE (18 + 19 + 23.75) is 60.75
Total 60.75 will be divided by the total percentage of the components with grades only.
60.75 / 65 (classwork + project + exam total percentage) = 93.46
This sorts the students list in Ongoing Classes by Sex. For the sorting to take effect, the Sex Field in the Student Profile must be updated.
If disabled, the default sorting is alphabetical across all students.
Click the toggle to enable/disable the setting, and it will be saved automatically.
This setting automates tagging the assessment tools of a student's missed activities as 'Excused'
Click the toggle to enable/disable the setting, and it will be saved automatically.
This sorts the students list in Ongoing Classes by their Enrollment Category with Late enrollees being displayed last on the list if enabled.
This manages how grades are displayed in the Report Card and what card format to use per level.
Select Report Card.
1) Double click on the box below Decimal Places.
2) Input your preferred decimal places, and it will be saved automatically.

1) Click on the drop-down located below Rounding Mode and select the preferred rounding mode.

Rank - student's rank within the section
BRank - student's rank across the grade level
1) Double click on the box below for either Academic or Non-Academic grade weight.
2) Input your preferred decimal places, and it will be saved automatically. Editing one box's input will automatically change the other value to equal to 100%.
HOW THE SETTING WORKS:
Academic grade = 97
Non-Academic grade = 86
Based on the setting 85/15:
97 * 85% = 82.45
86 * 15% = 12.9
FINAL GRADE FOR RANKING = 95.35
