Schedule Types

Purpose: To setup how a subject is scheduled

Prerequisite/dependencies: None

Output: Selection for each subject's setup

Go to Planning > School Year Setup > Schedule Types.

Creating a New Schedule Type

1) Click +New.

2) Fill out the necessary details:

  • Name - what to call the schedule type

  • Minutes per week - (hours per day) multiplied by (how many days per week a subject should be taken); convert to minutes.

    • Example: One (1) hour per day every MWF = (60 minutes) multiplied by (3 days) = 180 minutes

3) Once done, don't forget to click Add schedule type.

Adding Possible Time slot on a Schedule Type

1) Click Edit Meetings of the schedule type to modify. This will show all the possible time slot for the schedule type.

2) Click + New to add.

3) Update the necessary details:

  • Time Frame - possible start time and end time of the schedule type

  • On Days - on what days should this schedule be?

Combination of Time Frame and On Days should match the Minutes per week.

Example: Minutes per week = 180

Time Frame: 08:00AM-09:00AM, M-W-F or Time Frame: 08:00AM-09:30AM, T-TH or

Time Frame: 08:00AM-11:00AM, Wednesday or Time Frame: 08:00AM-08:30AM, Mon to Sat

4) Once done, don't forget to click Add Possible Meeting.

5) Add all the possible time slot per schedule type.

Removing Possible Time slot on a Schedule Type

1) Click Edit Meetings of the schedule type to modify. This will show all the possible time slot for the schedule type.

2) Click the X button on the right side of the time slot to remove.

3) Once clicked, it will immediately delete the slot and save the changes.

Editing a Schedule Type

A schedule type with possible time lot inside Edit Meetings cannot be edited as it will affect the slots already created. Delete the time slots first before editing the schedule type.
