Courses are the classes offered in your school, where students enroll in.
Click on the “Planning Setup” tab under Planning. On the Planning Setup menu, click on the “Courses” tab. This will show the Courses page.
1. To create a new course, click the “New Course” button on the upper right part of the page. This will give you a “Add a new course” form.
2. Fill up the necessary details. Do not leave any fields blank and do not use a code that is already being used.
Code - Cannot be edited once saved in the system
Description - More details about the course
Schedule Type - How a course should be scheduled
Department - Which department the course belongs to
Units - Total number of units to be credited to the student
Grading Type - How a course is graded, which grading template to be used
Included in GPA Computation (Checkbox) - Should the course be included in the computation for the GPA?
Composite Course (Checkbox) - Enable if a course's lecture and laboratory units are charged differently. The sum of lecture and laboratory units to be indicated below should be equal to the course's unit.

3. Once you are done filling the form, click “Add Course”. This will return you to the Courses page and you may now see your newly created course in the list provided.
1. To edit a course, choose a course to edit and click on its edit/pencil icon. This will show an “Update course” form, but do not leave any fields blank.
2. Once you are done filling the form, click “Save Course”. This will return you to the Courses page and you may now see your newly edited course in the list provided.
1. To search for a course, type in a keyword or the exact text on the search bar above.
2. Press enter on your keyboard to search. A list of searches that match your description should show below.
1. To import a course, Click "Upload" to open a modal containing requirements for CSV File Upload
1. Click on "Import File" as soon as file has been uploaded
